From next term we are trailing a new system for ordering school dinners. Currently, pupils select their dinner choice during registration each day. From the beginning of next term, we are asking parents and students to choose their meals and order them for the half term using the form on Weduc.
This new process cuts down on daily administrative time for both Ish, our kitchen manager, and school staff as well as minimising food waste, as we will be ordering only what has been ordered for each week. We also think it important that as parents, you are involved and as informed as possible in the food choices for your child.
Please note that if your child is present in school and does not take their meal choice for that day you will still be charged. However, if your child is off due to illness or self-isolation, you will not be charged for that day’s meal choice.
We have had our menu approved through North Yorkshire County Caterers, as a healthy menu with a variety of dinners.
Please find attached our visual menu for Spring 1 and a form to complete choosing your child’s dinners for the first half term. We ask that you complete the online form by Wednesday 16th December 2020.
