This year’s Children in Need day is on Friday 19th November. We will be supporting this special event in school by learning about how Children in Need help to support young people. To help raise money for this important charity we will be having a non-uniform day on Friday 19th November – please bring in £1 and give to your class teacher.
Children can come to school in non-uniform. If your child wants to wear yellow or wear spots they can but children can also come to school in their normal home clothes – there is no need to buy anything special.
It is also Anti-Bullying Week from Monday 15th November – Friday 19th November. As part of our PSHE curriculum children will learn about what bullying is, the different types of bullying and what action can be taken against bullying.
We will also be holding our first Parents’ Evening of the academic year during the week commencing 15th November. We are planning to invite parents into school for appointments and further details will be provided on booking your appointment in a separate letter.
