Friday afternoon proved, once again, what an amazing school community we are as we joined together for our Christmas fair.
Each of the classes provided fun games to try our luck at, there were fun painted faces, a gift stall with hand made environmentally friendly products made by the Eco Club along side stalls from people of the local community including a book stall from our friends and neighbours at Bilton and Woodfield Community Library.
The atmosphere in the hall and rainbow room was lovely with a real buzz in the air, it’s always so nice when we come together for these events.
There was magic in one corner of the hall as we had a V.I.P turn up to join us. Father Christmas reported back to the elf that all the children have been very good this year, how polite they all are and we have lovely, fun children in our school. The elf was also told that we provided him with the best and most beautiful grotto he had ever seen!
On a personal note I would like to thank all the staff, parents, carers and volunteers who helped to decorate the school, organise, set up and pack up our fair and those who donated prizes for the raffle. Without you, amazing events like these would not be possible. I’m so proud to be a Woodfield parent, I enjoy the fact that we truly are a community and how well we all work together to support our children and the school.
