Woodfield is holding a Danceathon!!!
Our aim is to dance from 8.30am until 4pm. That is an amazing 7 and a half hours!
Throughout the day, your child will take part in exciting dance sessions and they are even invited to dance their way through lunchtime. All children will learn a dance, which we will then perform as a whole school. Children are invited to wear ‘Sports Kit’ to school for the day.
The aim of Sport Relief is to raise money for children in the UK and abroad, focusing on tackling homelessness, protecting children’s futures, fighting fears and violence and championing children’s mental health. We are aiming to raise at least £100 this year and therefore are asking for a voluntary donation of £2.
From 3.30pm- to 4pm parents and carers are invited to take part in the last Danceathon session of the day to help the school dance their way to the target. Please come along in your sports kit and join in the fun.
Donations will be greatly received!
Cakes and drinks will be on sale at the end of the dance session.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
We are looking forward to seeing some groovy dance moves!
