Following the government announcement that schools are able to open to all pupils from Monday 8th March, we have been planning and preparing for the return of all our pupils. Please find below some of the main actions we would like you to consider.
Staggered drop off and collection times
Please stick to your allocated time and ensure you socially distance inside school grounds. There is a one-way system for entering and leaving school grounds- please follow the signs and our staff will be outside to help. To help reduce the number of people on school grounds at any one time, please remember that only one person should drop off/collect.

Drop off time 8.45am-8.55am
Collection time 3pm-3.10pm

Face coverings are not required for children of primary school age, so please do not send them into classrooms wearing one. If you and your family wish to wear one on the journey to school that is sensible but we ask you to take your child’s face mask home and bring it back when you collect them. If you use public transport to travel to and from school, please remember that face masks are required for travel. If you have an appointment in school or need to speak to the school office, please wear a face covering when entering the building.
All children are to wear school uniform as usual (no trainers or leggings please) – if you are needing new uniform because you child has outgrown theirs, and are finding it challenging to find replacements at the moment, then please contact the school office and we will see if we can help. Book bags, water bottles and packed lunch boxes can be brought in as usual from home – please make sure they are labelled with your child’s name.
Your child may wear their PE kit to school on the days they have PE
Class 1 - PE Monday 2 hour session
Class 2 - PE Wednesday and Friday
Class 3 - PE Tuesday 2 hour session
The school kitchen is open and lunches will operate as normal
Breakfast club will be available from 8am, please use the booking form on Weduc to book your place on a weekly basis. Please use the usual gate which will open at 8am
For further guidance on attended before or after school clubs or holiday clubs please read this guidance
Reporting Cases or symptoms
Parents and children are reminded that if they or their child are: showing any symptoms of Covid-19, receive a positive test result or have been contacted by Track and Trace, you must not come to school and you must inform the school office immediately. If we feel a child is displaying symptoms they will be placed in a separate room in school and parents will be asked to come to collect them.
If you have any questions then please don’t hesitate to contact the school office email [email protected]
We appreciate your support and cooperation during these challenging times and we look forward to welcoming you back to school on the 8th March.
