Race for Life – Friday 14 May
Our school is holding its very own Race for Life event for Cancer Research UK and we’d love your child to join the fun.
Our students are the generation that could see ground-breaking treatments and cures for cancer in their lifetime. They’re the rising stars who could be the researchers and lifesavers of tomorrow. By taking part in Race for Life and uniting together against cancer, they’ll be doing something really special.
Cancer Research UK receives no government funding for their research, so the more of us who join the fight against cancer, the more money we can raise to beat cancer sooner.
We’ll Race for Life:
At: Our school field and playground
On: Friday 14th May
Class bubbles will each take a turn to do their Race 4 Life in line with current Covid19 guidelines. Please complete the form on Weduc to give your child permission to unite with us at our Race for Life.
We will be sending home sponsorship forms this week. Donations can also be made on the website - https://fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/page/woodfield-community-primary-school.
We have a target of £250. It would be fantastic to meet that target, and may be even surpass it!
Thank you for your support.
